AREQUIPA - COLCA CANYON - PUNO - LIMA

Day 01, Sunday, October 29 - LIMA TO AREQUIPA
Lima - Arequipa: Transfer to Lima Apt. Upon arrival to Arequipa transfer and after a rest City tour; visiting the Convent of Santa Catalina, the Church Cloisters of the Company, La Plaza de Armas, Casa Moral, Cathedral, Complex of San Francisco, Yanahuara. Return to Hotel.
Overnight in Arequipa.

Day 02, Monday, October 30 - AREQUIPA TO COLCA CANYON VALLEY
Tour of the Colca Canyon, with its bright green valleys. Enjoy the flight of the Condor, pass by the great Volcanoes of Misti, Chanchani and Ampato. Visit the Aguada National Reservation, appreciate elegant “vicuñas”. On the way, see the many small villages such as Toja, Chucura, Patapampa and its mestizo baroque art, pass through Puente Cervantes and Ichupampa. The Collaguas; who inhabited the Colca before the Incas, developed a remarkable agriculture in the high areas which for 1,500 years yielded the fruits of the new world, potatoes, corn, quinua, bean. They also controlled the Vicuñas known as South American Camelids, which provided them with meat, wool and hides.

Day 03, Tuesday, October 31 - COLCA CANYON - PUNO
Search for the Condor, visit to Maca, Lari Pinchollo, Madrigal and Mirador of Tapay. Departure by bus from Colca Canyon to Puno approximately 6 hours.
Overnight in Puno (B-L).

Day 04: Wednesday, November 01 - PUNO - UROS - TAQUILE - PUNO
Transfer at 8.00 a.m. to take a boat that will take us through the Titicaca Lake, visiting the Uros floating Islands and discovering the opulence of the world’s highest navigable Lake, at 3,812 m.a.s.l. Then we will arrive to the Taquile Island.

Taquile offers a magnificent lake landscape from where the impressive snowfalls of the Cordillera Real (Real mountain chain) can be seen. Other attractions to tourists in Taquile are: the great skills of men, women, and children for handmade textiles, the purest and most conservative Quechua that is spoken by Taquile inhabitants. The return to Puno is at 16.00 p.m. It includes transport hotel / pier / hotel and a warm lunch at a typical restaurant.
Overnight in Puno.(B-L).

Day 05: Thursday, November 02 - PUNO - LIMA
Transfer to Julaica Airport for flight to Lima and transfer to hotel. (B)

Day 06: Friday, November 03 - LIMA / HOME
Transfer in the morning to Lima Airport for international flight home. (B)

RATE:
$1,279.00 based on double and a minimum of 2 people.

INSURANCE

Medical and Cancellation Insurance is strongly recommended in order to protect your investment. Cancellation Insurance must be requested at time of booking.

PASSPORTS

You are required to carry a valid passport with an expiry date of six (6) months past reentry into your home country.
